a senior software engineer and technical lead at Vox Media,

where he works on digital editorial content,

and a serial founder of defunct queer literary magazines.

and hope she's doing all right. Daniel, I am so, so, so glad that you are here. The two Daniels

reunited professionally at last. I'm delighted to be here. I feel like there's either going to be a

competitive thing or sort of like a dual tap dancing thing. Maybe both. Dual tap dancing. I'm

never competitive with you. My whole you know, my whole career has been

hoping to eventually get to start one of those defunct queer literary magazines with you.

And I think my whole career has been chasing you down to participate in them.

You know, perhaps the problem is with us then, if neither of us has been able to make this one happen. But I do want you

and all of our listeners to know that I will be recording my end from a friend of a friend's

apartment where there is a copy of country living magazine that asks the question, who is the

most beloved parson in Britain? And that is going to be the spirit that informs all of my advice

...
