Well, turn with me, if you would, to two openings this morning.

John, chapter 13, and 1 John, chapter 4.

John 13, 1 John, chapter 4.

For the last several Sunday mornings, we've been talking about the love of God.

And we actually have an instruction from the Lord, a directive, I should say.

I do from the Lord to teach the church, all of us remind and teach and

instruct and lead in how to love each other.

That's one of the main things he's directed us to do.

So we're getting into this. And another thing he said is teach

how to live by faith. And another is how to be led by the spirit. And so we're going to just work

on these. How many believe we can grow in these? From month to month and year to year. Can't cover

everything on one day.

Right?

Besides that, you couldn't receive everything in one day.

And some things, you just have to stay after it, stay with it.

And if you feel like the Lord has joined you to this church family, then be with us, particularly

on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.

There need to be a good reason why you're not here, because we pray on Wednesday night.

I know a lot of you drive some distance, and I understand that.

But Wednesday night is not just about receiving, it's about giving spiritually and taking our responsibility and praying for our nation and praying for the city and for the church and the family's in the church and that kind of thing.

But I can't minister to you and the Lord can't minister to you through us if you're not here.

Right?
