Welcome back my friends, I'm glad you're joining me for the morning mindset today.

This is our opportunity to do a reset on our way of thinking for this day, to get our

minds aligned with the truth of God and to get our hearts entuned with His.

I hope that you're excited about that prospect today.

We're going to be looking at Proverbs chapter 10, verse 12 and I have to say right here

at the outset that Proverbs often are difficult for me because they're typically spoken

in very specific terms and at the same time very general terms.

What I mean by that is they speak about very specific subjects and they use extreme

language to do so at times but they also are speaking in a broad sense that encompasses

lots of things in many situations could fall into the circumstance that's being described

in a proverb and so it's hard at times to figure out how does this proverb exactly apply

to the specific situation I'm going through right now.

And today I believe we come across a proverb that falls into that category.

Let's look at it together.

Proverbs chapter 10 verse number 12 says, hatred stirs up strife but love covers all offenses.

Now do you see right away we have some very extreme language is talking about hatred

and love I can't think of two qualities that are more extremely opposed to each other

than those two and he says hatred stirs up strife.

I don't think there's any of us who would argue with that statement.

Hatred does stir up strife but I can also think of many other things that stir up strife.

And you know maybe that's the point.

Maybe Solomon is trying to reveal to us that beneath those situations where strife is
