This senate invoked the nuclear option today,

the least aptly named metaphor since Paul Ryan tried to rebrand

planned parenthood defunding as the Baby Saver Jesus favorite act.

So Judge Gorsuch will be confirmed by a majority,

but less than a super majority.

And we've been hearing about the tough choice the Democrats had to make

to keep their powder dry or, as was said so many times,

to decide that this was indeed their hill to die on.

So why in the hell do they appear to be choosing this hill to die on?

Now if you were to ask me, what hill I'd want to die on,

my answer would always be, you know what, not this one.

what hill do you want to die on?

This one, sir, me too.

What about you, private?

I gotta be totally honest here.
