One of the problems I've had with

join us in France is that I've worked very hard

to keep up with a self-imposed weekly production schedule.

Each episode takes 8 to 12 hours

to research, produce, publish, advertise, etc.

And this has been eating up most of my time outside of work and now that I've changed

jobs it's really difficult for me to keep up.

Yet at the same time there's been a resurgence of interest. Lots of new people are finding the

podcast, many of them through a really nice blog called Secrets of Paris and I welcome all of you.

Some through comments on Tripadvisor a few of you have shared episodes on your own

Facebook pages although not enough in my opinion to be honest with you and that

part isn't working well and I really don't know why. But lots of things are working really well.

When Elise and I started the podcast two years ago,

we were lucky to get five to ten listeners per day.

By now, it's pretty common to get 1500 or more in a single day.

Now it's nothing like NPR or some of the other ginormous podcasts, but it's gratifying

to see some growth and to hear from listeners who will clearly enjoy

the show. So there is no question that I will continue producing the show. I get great questions and suggestions all the time, but I'm going to have to go to a looser release schedule because I just can't keep up. I'll do twice a month for sure, probably more if things
