Louise's story. And it's a slow burn story. So just let me stress that. It's subtle until it's not subtle anymore.

Louise's story is about a relationship that lasted decades.

And one of the most important things about it is that the pattern here was not always obvious while Louise was inside in.

For a very long time, the conflict seemed to be somewhere else.

This abuser here was in disputes with colleagues institutions professionals and just other people and louise believed she was different

she believed she was safe from that side of him but sometimes the warning sign is not how your

partner treats you at first sometimes it is how they explain everyone else.

So over time, the same contempt, superiority, denial, and need to win, turn toward Louise.

And in post-separation, it was just an all-out war.
