0:30.3	I've moved from many offices and I've had many deaths but since the days of when I was a working detective, I have a picture of Louis inside my desk drawer.

1:01.3	Hello and welcome to episode 27 of The Vanished. Tonight I will be covering the disappearance of 7-year-old Louis Macarley.
1:09.3	I had the pleasure of interviewing Joe Hanna who was the sheriff of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania for this episode.
1:15.3	This case has some really bizarre twists and turns. Louis disappeared on June 7th, 1984 from Allentown, Pennsylvania.
1:24.3	He was a friendly little boy with brownish blonde hair, blue eyes and was missing four front teeth.
1:32.3	To really get a grasp on this case, we need to go back about six months to January of 1984 when Louis was just six years old.
1:40.3	He told his parents a school nurse and a psychologist that he had been arrested by a couple.
1:46.3	He only knew the couple by their first names, Frank and Elizabeth.
1:50.3	He said that these events took place on the train tracks by the Jordan Creek and the Lehigh River.
1:56.3	The Jordan Creek is very close to where Louis was living and the Lehigh River is just a short distance away.
2:02.3	Louis was known to play in these areas frequently.
2:05.3	He also stated that they put him in their station wagon and took him to an apartment where they molested him.
2:11.3	They then took him back to his neighborhood and dropped him off.
2:14.3	When he finally came forward and talked about what was going on, he also mentioned that Frank and Elizabeth had warned him that if he told anyone that they would make him disappear.
2:25.3	The family went to the police but they declined to investigate because Louis could not offer them last names or an address for Frank and Elizabeth.
2:33.3	Authorities were never able to identify Frank and Elizabeth or confirm the story to be true.
2:38.3	I would be willing to bet that if Frank and Elizabeth do actually exist, that those are not their real names.
2:45.3	Fast forward to June 7th, 1984. On that day, Louis went to school and his mother was in the hospital having surgery.
