This had to happen at some stage. We had to get a really filthy, murky, misty, rainy, sodden day.

And today is that day.

This is authentic, labelling weather.

And actually, the benefit of a day like this is we're guarantee there'll be nobody else walking in this weather.

So we'll have the mountain to ourselves, because today I am climbing a mountain with Simon

Ingram, who is the author of a book called Between the Sunset and the Sea,

a view of 16 British Mountains. So Simon, mountains are your speciality? They are, I suppose, yes.

I'm also very lucky that they're also my day job. I edit a magazine called Trail. The world of mountaineering, international mountaineering,

owes so much to these hills that a lot of people think are quite modest,

you know, not particularly high, not particularly interesting,

but they're incredible.

Well, hopefully, even though it's raining, and we can't see anything,

hopefully we'll feel a little bit of that today.

See, we're not alone, because two people have just run past with their Cocker Spani Yop.

And one of them's in shorts.

And in theory, we're in the middle of winter.

Right, I'm going to hop over this style and join you.

We'll definitely see more people up there.

Yeah.

Okay, so I'll have a bet with you that we see 20 people today.
