had some really good success. I mean, in year two and three of Lou being here, the Islanders

were in however you wanted to find it, the conference finals in the following year, because of the

weirdness, the semi-finals in back-to-back years. And then obviously 22 was a disaster. COVID had a lot to do

with it. In the last couple of years, they've been an underachieving but okay playoff team. And then

this year was a disaster. But it was clear that they needed to move on, that the islanders
