Let's start with the Wild in Calgary on Saturday.

And the fact that they had played a couple weeks before, we had had the hit on Koiwu,

which the Wild didn't like.

But Dumba then came back with a hit late in that game, which precipitated a fight.

And at that point in time, you thought it was basically done.

But Calgary comes in on Saturday and Dumba gets in a fight with Kachuk, what, 40 seconds

into that game. Your thoughts on sort of what seemed like an old school type of hockey deal

there, Lou Nanny? That's the worst thing that's in hockey today is the fact that somebody

can hit someone with a clean check and somebody from the other team's got to retaliate.

And on the past, you'd always get the guy's number and you hit him yourself when you

get a chance.

That's part of the game.

You've got to be alert.

You've got to be aware.

In fact, many times we've got to go back and give our own players crap for giving

him a suicide pass.

It wasn't the guy hitting us that we were upset with.

It was a guy giving us a pass at the wrong spot.

Or if we were just coming through the middle like that on our own and had our head down,

we'd say you deserve it.

It's ridiculous that kind of thing exists in hockey.
