If an unpacked item is left outside your door, do not bring it inside.

Leave it where it is, and contact local services as soon as possible.

Unless said item is discovered after sunset, in which case, please wait until sunrise the next morning.

Repeat, there are no local law enforcement or similar agencies currently focused or even

concerned with the recovery of personal items beyond what may have occurred during a criminal

investigation. If the person outside insists they know you or begins listing personal

details to gain your trust, do not engage, regardless of how familiar they appear to be.
