0:26.3	Our curatorial producer, Suzanne Rust, found out about our first storyteller, Ross Jessup,
0:32.4	threw an article in a local Missoula, Montana newspaper, and she reached out.
0:37.6	Ross later told us, I thought it was a scam, and so did my lieutenant.
0:42.0	I told my wife about it, and she said, the moth?
0:44.6	It's not a scam.
0:45.8	Call them.
0:46.5	I listen all the time.
0:48.8	So we begin this episode, Lost in the Woods of Lolo National Forest, in Missoula, Montana, with Ross Jessup,
0:57.2	a cop 10 years into the police force. He came to New York to tell his story outside in Greenwood
1:03.7	Cemetery, so you may hear the occasional airplane. We partner with the Greenwood Historic Fund.

1:22.2	It's July 7th. Scorching hot 95 degrees. I'm going a Dodge Durango driving on a dusty road I'm a cop I
1:37.3	responded to a call where there was a man acting disorderly who was last seen running through a forest.
1:50.0	This man had possibly crashed a blue car and he was caring for a baby.
2:02.7	I'm at the end of the road.
2:08.5	I'm depressed.
2:11.8	I'm struggling.
2:13.8	My marriage is falling apart.
2:19.3	And in front of me, there's nothing but large bushes and pine trees that had overgrown the road that I was on.
