Last night I got a text as I was trying to get ready for football and I had, I've told you I'm pretty much taking care of the kids after school these days. Like I, the missus is busy. Yeah. And I, she's a VP now. Yeah. And I got the kids. This has been going on now for a while. But anyway, there I am trying to get my, and the Mrs. writes me a note in the middle of some meeting she's in, but she's like, we have got to get the Halloween stuff down out of the attic. And I'm looking at my priorities, people. I'm looking at my watch. I thought they already got All the Halloween stuff up. Tap, tap, tap, tap, bang, bang, bang. I'm like, I don't, it's the time. We got to do this right now. And then I hear, I jumped out of my meeting. Let's do this. Oh. Right now. Get up. Let's do it. So we climbed into the rafter. She climbed into it. I put a helmet on her and... Oh. You know those nails that stick out of that. Yeah. Sure. So I put a helmet on her and sent her up for the stuff. And then, you know, it's like that. She pushes it to the ledge. And then there I am all, oh. Yeah. Okay. One step, two step. Do you have a pull-down staircase? No. Oh, Jesus. And it's really what I should have done when we had, you know, the guy around doing all, Kirk doing all the work. But I didn't. It's high. We have those high ceilings.

I don't know what the heck.

But anyway, it was just, it seemed like too much work to do.

Yeah.

So I took, you know, six boxes on the head.

Great.

Now we're ready to decorate.

Yay.

And the kids.

Actually, it's pretty cool.

Once all the stuff was down, they start running around in the front yard, putting this up.

Yeah, my day was a little different than that. Yeah, I'm sure it was. Our neighbors are starting to get their stuff together. John buys a pumpkin every time he goes to the supermarket. So you'll have like 20 of them? So we, yes. So we have, I think we have maybe three or four now. All right. But when he goes, he just, because, you know, he doesn't want to try it in 20.

Right.

Yeah.

And first he gets like two good size, like nice round carvers for me. I got to carve those things up. And then he bought like a little white one. Oh yeah, we do have a fourth because he got one of those speckley gourds, you know, with all the warts on them and stuff.
