This week's For The Good of the Order is something I think of as a precursor to the big

interview coming up on Tuesday with Michael Lewis.

If you are a PBS watcher, you will have already seen that interview, edited down to its 26-minute

version.

On the pod, we are including much more of that conversation.

We talked for an hour and 15 minutes, probably.

And in the background of that conversation is the fact that my cousin Kathy's son died.

So you probably know that Michael Lewis's daughter, Dixie, was killed the summer after her

freshman year in college.

My cousin Kathy's son was also killed at that same time in his life.

And I've talked about him before, and we just did a short thanks for being here that

was written by Aaron's and Graf's sister, Lena, my dear Lena.

But I wanted to do a short reading from Tell Me More so that you know a touch about Kathy

and the things I've learned from her over the years that are woven in one way or another

into my conversation with Michael Lewis.
