Well, hello, my friends, and welcome to the Kyle Serafin show.

Today is Monday.

It is February the 9th.

And welcome to our program.

We're going to be talking about something that has been bothering me all weekend.

And I can't shake it.

I can't get it out of my head.

I can't get rid of the concept that we've lost the middle ground in America.

There was a middle ground.

I've been trying to trace where it went

because there was a time when regular Americans

to the tune of about 80% agreed with most of the things that happened.

They basically wanted the same things.

They may have disagreed with how to get to it.

And I actually don't think that went away. I think that the political parties that represent

this country have actually lost where that is. And so it's my ongoing contention that people

have not changed as dramatically as anyone would have you believe.

I think that the thing that happened was our political Overton window and the shift walked away from where regular people sit.
