Summary

In this week’s episode of the Just Ingredients Podcast, I sit down with my niece, Lindsey, to talk about her healing journey after the tragic loss of her mom. This conversation is tender, honest, and full of hope. Here are a few key takeaways: It’s okay to ask for help.Lindsey shares how Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helped her process the trauma she experienced. Grief can feel overwhelming, and seeking support is not weakness — it’s strength. Trauma can be reframed.Through ART, Lindsey was able to reprocess painful memories and shift her emotional response. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting, but it does mean the pain doesn’t have to control you. Purpose can anchor you.Her daughter became her reason to keep going. Even in deep grief, there can be small moments of purpose and light. If you or someone you love is navigating loss or trauma, I hope this episode reminds you that healing is possible — one step at a time.
