Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are predicted to continue through Wednesday.

Moderate to locally strong, Santa Ana winds will affect Los Angeles County.

These winds, combined with dry air and dry vegetation,

will keep the fire threat in Los Angeles County high.

The number of uncontained wildfires burning around L.A. has been lowered to four.

However, they are said to be very significant in size.

Two other fires are now said to be contained.
