Folks, as you all know, the Lori Vallow trial has begun.

It's one of the strangest cases that you could possibly follow. And there's so many twists and turns,

the timeline goes back to like 2014. We're not going to go to all those details. We're going to

discuss other aspects of this case. And for that tonight, I'm going to have Attorney Melanie

bit more about the case and Lori Vallow, Daybell goes to trial with her children's mysterious deaths.

She's being tried in connection with the deaths of her two of her

children and her husband's previous wife. Prosecutors said she was driven by her doomsday

religious beliefs. Now this is strange, doomsday religious beliefs. We've seen this before,

of course, with like David Koresh. And in a certain way with

Charles Manson years ago, even though it wasn't religion, it was sort of like a cult, which so is this.

This is very much like a cult. So Lori Valade Bell, again, there's so many names in this,

it gets you confused too. Her first day was Valo and then she married Chad Daybell, Again, there's so many names in this, it gets you confused, too. Her first day was

Valo, and then she married Chad Daybell, and they're still using Lori Valo Daybell. So he's

on trial in Idaho this week in the deaths of three people, including two of her children,

in a case, of course, that has drawn widespread attention for what prosecutors have described as her doomsday religious beliefs and for the questionable circumstances surrounding the deaths of other members of her family.

It seems that when people get near her, they get dead, you know, in very mysterious ways.
