Episode 81 Loretta Benaderet

Years of family dysfunction, and mental illness culminated on September 4th, 2014 when 76 year-old Loretta Benaderet was gunned down by her own son in Casper, Wyoming. The murder-suicide carried out by Loretta's son David was shocking, but not totally unimaginable. Loretta's daughter Kim experienced years or torture and abuse at the hands of her brother, and despite many warning signs, this final violent act wasn't able to be stopped. Kim discusses the tragic events surrounding her mother's murder, and recounts the horrible things she survived growing up next to David and Loretta.
