So Bender, I got to ask you, you got into a game in a particular old school D&D setting that is, it's classic, everybody loves it because it's weird, and you're in the middle of a campaign, and I want to hear all about it.

Yeah, so, Jamie, thank you for lending me that box set. You know me. Of course, I consumed it, like cover to cover, all three books. And it sated my thirst. So then I went back and I read every single second edition spell jammer thing I could get my hands on. I scoured the internet. I'm reading Dragon magazines, man. Like my friend Chuck is running the spell jerry campaign. I got a little too excited. Let's just put it that way. This is like the gem and the thanos

gauntlet. I've always wanted to play Spell Jammer, but this is like, you know, I finally got to do it.

Spelljammer is a far less known campaign setting than most of the other ones in D&D history.

Can you explain a little bit about Spell Jammer for the listeners who may not know much about it.

It's it's a D&D in space and it's absurd.

It's just like this entire setting where you're like flying boats through the cosmos,

getting into all kinds of capers, visiting weird planets, traveling through the

philosophy and like all the astral space and visiting

the corpses of dead gods who everyone forgot their names and stuff like that it is the wildest

most surreal setting like right next to plainscape it's adjacent to that where it's just absolute

wackiness i'm playing a nine foot tall 650 poundall, 650-pound hippo man.

So you're kind of on the small side.
