Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham.

We're right here on Talk TV. It's the start of yes another week. Christmas is coming, you know.

It's not that far away. A couple of weeks and you'll be right smack bang in the middle of it.

I actually heard some of the lift last week say they'd been to a Christmas lunch.

And that was even still in November, for heaven's sake.

But there's an awful lot going on today.

We've got Kirstama unveiling some plans that Labor may or may not want to have.

Unfortunately, though, they're not his plans.

They're Gordon Brown's plans.

Gordon Brown, who hasn't been in government, actually, for quite a long time. He was the Prime Minister once, but he wasn't elected Prime Minister, you might remember, when they did have an election, he got kicked out,

dragged, kicking and screaming out of Downing Street, never wanted to go. Well, now he wants to abolish

the House of Lords, presumably because he's not in it yet. I don't know. John Reynolds

here to guide us through and navigate the choppy waters of whatever Labor's policy is. Kirstarman's been doing the rounds today. He's doing a press conference this morning as well.

Amongst other things, he's talking about giving more powers to devolved parliaments around the country.

And he's also talking about never letting Jeremy Corbyn back into the Labour Party in the sense as a Labour MP.

He says he sees no way that that could ever happen. A lot of people fed up

with Gordon Brown because this is a guy who, as I say, was kicked out of office quite some time
