It has been two years. Annalise Ophelian, the director of the docu-series looking for Leah. Welcome to the show, Annalise. We're so happy you're back. I'm so happy to be back. Hello. Hello. How have you been doing? I've been doing so good. I'm really excited today. Like, after two years of doing the like, we're making this thing. It's coming soon. We're making this thing. It's wonderful. This is my first podcast where I get to show up and say, hey, we've made the thing.

Here's where you can see it. And that is the best. And I love that I get to do that with the both of you.

So yeah, I'm great. I'm so excited for you and everything. I think that hearing all this good news about the documentary and everything has been so good.

I mean, the first time we met you was back at Celebration in

2017 in April. And that was when I, I believe that looking for Leah was still kind of this small

project. I don't think that it was, it was still like in development and really beginning.

And it's been such a crazy journey for both us and

to like watch you you know grow and create this this amazing series that I'm just I'm so proud and

I'm so happy that we're here today to talk about it. Thank you so much. Yeah. Now we um we like the first

time we really busted our cameras

out, like our first in earnest filming was Celebration Orlando in 2017. And I got to meet so many

amazing people, the both of you certainly being among that where it was just like, okay, what is this?

Like, I think I want to make a, at the time, a documentary about this phenomenon. What's the phenomenon?

And it was amazing to, like, it's amazing to kind of do the way back machine and think about

all the people we've talked to and all the places that we've gone in those two years.

Yeah, sure.

But you're definitely, like, among the very first. And so that feels like a really nice, full,

complete circle. It's an

Odyssey. It's a journey that starts and ends in the same place, and yet you grow and develop

along the way. It's pretty mythological. It's a very parallel to Star Wars. I agree. I agree.
