Hey, everybody. Welcome to church. My name is David and so glad you joined us today. We are in the

beautiful city of Chicago, Illinois. Today we're going to take a few moments and we are going to focus

on the person of Jesus, specifically when it comes to the person of Jesus. We're going to talk

about decision making today. We're going to talk about what happens when our life is at a cross

rose when we're at an intersection. When we're trying to decide am I going to go left or am I

going to go right? I don't know about you, but I feel like those moments come every day of my life.

Now there's big moments in life and there's small moments in life. But the good news is that God

cares about all of them. You know, before I came to know the person of Jesus and his love for my life,

my relationship with God was something like this. I would barter with whoever I thought God was,

right, a higher being, a higher power. So it was almost like making a wish when you throw a coin

into a water fountain. And I remember so many times in my life when either I was on the verge of

getting in trouble, when I was trying to make a big decision or whether I wanted something

significant, I would make deals with God. Almost like it was a lottery ticket. And my deals would

look something like this. Okay, God, if you X, Y, Z, I promise to do this. I don't know if you've

ever found yourself in that type of a situation or scenario with God. But that's the relationship

that that I had with whoever I thought God to be in my life. And I don't know where you find

yourself today. I don't know if you realize that God actually loves and cares about you and wants

to help you within your everyday life, within your decision making. I see a lot of people in life
