As you breathe out, It all becomes so clear, You know nothing was a waste. Take her hand now, That vibrant little girl,  And squeeze it real tight so she knows.  She’s always enough, The only her in the world,  Her creativity naturally flows. PAUSE… Looking back, You see such life, Shining bright in her eyes. Looking back,  You feel the fire, And know you’ve grown wise. PAUSE… All at once,  You’re past is here, Your future’s alive in the now. All at once, Time disappears, You know the why and how.  PAUSE… Peace soon floods in, A touch of sadness too, You’re aware of how fast it goes.  You’re holding the hand, Of a young little you, Embracing yourself when you’re old.  PAUSE… You breathe in love, And gratitude too, For the gift of your life in this world.  You well up with tears, And know what is true, The soul of this little girl. PAUSE… It’s time to release, The wounds from the past, The stories that keep you small. Looking back you see, None of this will last, You’re meant to live it all.  PAUSE… Looking back, At the girl from years ago, At the woman who lies here right now.  Breathe in and smile, And feel yourself glow, Your future self would be proud.
