What is his promise, but that he will build his church?

Who is this one who made the promise, but the Christ,

the Son of the living God, the one who has conquered sin

and death and all our enemies, and sits at the Father's right hand?

He is the one who made the promise.

When you consider the state of the church, are you encouraged?

What about the state of society in general?

Many Christians feel discouraged, but we have every reason to be confident

and to stand firm for the truth.
