And it's been kind of a tough couple of days for the Lucasfilm family. You heard about Chana Trippic, right?

Yeah, Emmy nominated, best known for her work on Star Wars Productions, Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, and Asoka, which Brian will be discussing the last two episodes of Season 1, later on in today's show.

But anyway, we lost Chana this past Wednesday, October 4th. She was 56 years old. Dave Filoni, the showrunner of Asoka, released this statement.

Chana had a deep love and appreciation for Star Wars. You could see that in every piece she did for us.

She loved everything about being a part of these stories, including connecting with fans and being a part of that community.

And I feel like she always had been a part of Star Wars.

The costumes tell a story, provided a suggestion of a life experience that happened before the camera's rolled.

Like, I loved collaborating with Chana, and I will miss her presence.

And John Favaro added, her creativity brought this world to life.

She will be deeply missed by, as both a friend and a colleague and a speaking of colleagues.

Tripyk's colleagues nominated her for an Emmy for her work on Mandalorian, Season 2, as well as the Book of Boba Fett.

She took home a costume designer's guild award for her work on the Book of Boba Fett.

And she is currently nominated for an Emmy for her work on the Mandalorian, Season 3.
