have dreamed up over the past 40 years. I'm Entertainment writer Jim Hill and my co-host,

Brian Gone and I, are recording this week's show on Sunday, August 13, 2023, and forgive

me if we seem a little worried here, but Brian's got a birthday party to go to, right?

Yeah, my son. He's 22, so I gotta get it. I know, I know. It's so fast. Oh, no, no, totally.

Yeah. Before we start, I want to say, I listened to Disney Disney dish with Josh Gad,

and oh my gosh, it was amazing. You two were terrific. I could listen to hours of you two talking.

He just seems one of the most amazing people. Josh is the real deal. I mean, Josh,

I don't know if I ever told you the story, but the first time Josh and I met,

no, I'm backstage at D23 for the very first expo, and it's just a couple of months before

frozen comes out. And so you're backstage on the press line, and you get your two minutes,

and you know, they they step and move to the next person. And so, so again, here comes the cast

of Frozen, as Dean of Mizzale, Kristen Bell, that sort of thing. So Josh is where this is,

the handler comes up and they do the quick introduction. Josh, this is Jim Hill, and Josh just

gets big. I'd look down at this a little piece of paper on the floor that says, Jim Hill media.

And then he looks up, it's like, you're Jim Hill? And it's like, yes, I'm obsessed with you,

and it's like, what? And it just it turns out that, you know, he's a big honking Disney

dweeb. And I guess while he was on stage on Broadway and Book of Mormon, you know, he had sent

me a question there, was supposed to answer as part of a Y4 column, and I never did. But again,

the press line derails, because Josh won't stop talking to me. And the handler's like,
