I'm Entertainment Writer Jim Hill and my co-host, the one and only Dan Z, and I are recording this

on Wednesday, August 19th, which, as you were just telling me when we were pre-gaming, what, your third day in back in school, right?

That's right, we had three days with just teachers getting our classrooms ready making sure our desks are socially

distance trying to plan for remote learners and it's it's pretty intense it's crazy

but I'd tell you what I wouldn't have it any other way because this is the way the world is so I

need to accept that and I have and as I was just telling you this is a wonderful challenge for me I like to

reinvent myself as an educator all the time because otherwise I think you

get stale and if I'm still I think the lessons become stale for the students so I am

ready to see what's going to happen I'm excited. I love your attitude and I have to tell you coming from a family of

educators this is the toughest time of year in a normal school year just you know getting a classroom set back up you know new

lesson plans you know learning you know the new kids who are coming to your class I can't

imagine doing this on top of what COVID how it's tipped the world upside down.

And you want to add some more fun of that? I'm fighting a pretty serious case of

poison ivy too, so we've had quite a week. Oh, geez.

So sorry.

And so we are now, Dan, one month out from the Primetime

Emmys, which will be presented Sunday, September 20th. And as happens during this time of year, especially when you're a show

that's had as many nominations as the Mandalorian, your creative team is out there doing PR.
