Wednesday, June 24th. So Dan, the school year has officially ended for you, right?

Yeah, we've been, I've been out for a good month at least, if not a little bit longer.

Okay.

So it's been, it's been an interesting summer, definitely not the usual because you can't travel really as much or it's not advised

to and, but this is the first summer in about 12 years I haven haven't taught summer schools. That's been a nice break.

Well, but at the same time I can offer anybody who's been paying attention to your teaching

with Star Wars column over at Star Wars.com. The education continues. I have to admit I've really been

loving this now weekly series of columns. The one that just dropped today was what about Ray and the

challenges of venturing outside your comfort zone, right? That's right and that

the power is I mean it does kind of mirror the the came billion refusal of the call and

how many people and I noticed this and you know when I was younger and my children too at first

life when you're asked to do something or you need to do something that you're not used to you're not comfortable with

It's scary and there's a lot of discomfort there and sometimes people just won't even attempt it and I think that's an important journey you have to take.

I, but the other thing, frankly, what I've been enjoying about this is you're not,

again, you're an equal opportunity teacher here.

You don't just concentrate on the films.

We've had pieces just over the last month or so.

You touched on lessons from the colon wars,

likewise rebels, even the prequels yeah so no I just I I have to

admit I've really been enjoying them though important distinction between the column you just did today about Ray and the lesson
