I'm Entertainment Writer Jim Hill, and let me now bring in my co-host Dan Zaire from

Coffee with Canobe Fame so that we can then get into talking about everything that's

gone on in Lucas film over the past month or so.

It's going to be a busy show, isn't it? Yeah, and just please forgive me for borrowing

a phrase from Empire Strikes Back, but between what's been going on

ticket saleswise with Solo, a Star Wars story and then what's been going on

with poor Kelly Marie Tran, effectively being bullied off of social media by trolls who were pretending

to be Star Wars fans. It's been a pretty dark time for Lucas film fans. For starters, what's your take on what's been going on with Miss Tran

This is a crazy time because honestly there are a group of fanboys out there and

and fanboys is sort of the term that many are using but really this is

racist this is sexist and it is bullying as you mentioned this is silly this is

an actress who was so excited to be a part of the Star Wars community and she

share with her family when she was allowed to. She's been wonderful and

glorious with all the press stuff at celebration. She's embraced the role. She's

been amazing and everyone seems to absolutely love her.

That being said, people don't have to like the character. They don't have to like the actress's

performance, but you don't get to be mean and mean spirited and that's very upsetting to me as a
