When God repeats himself, it is never because he forgot he said it the first time.

When God repeats himself, there's a divine emphasis there,

and he's repeating himself because there's something there he doesn't want us to forget that he said.

We've come to one of those divine repetitions today. In Abakch chapter 2,

now we've been studying all these elements of readying ourselves for revival, preparing ourselves for God to speak and God to work. And we culminated with faith because this is what it all

leads to. It brings us to God. If all you see is your sin,

or all you see is the situation, or all you see is the world around you, you're in trouble.

Run to Jesus. Faith brings you to God. And Habakkuk chapter 2, verse number four, says,

Behold, His soul which is lifted up is not upright in him, but the just shall live by his faith.

This exact phrase is found three times in the New Testament.

Because this is not an old principle or a new principle.

It is an eternal principle.
