Brian Scott. Hey everyone how's it going? Ryan I'm doing great I wanted to start

today's episode by mentioning an update to Friday's episode. So on Friday's episode,

Chris came on and we had a water cooler discussion. We're just talking about stuff we've been watching and I

mentioned that I watched this 1986 movie called Black Moon Rising that has the same stunt in it from Furious 7

where a car jumps from one building to another and I wrote a little article about this and was wondering if, I mean I said in the

podcast episode like clearly this must have been an inspiration for what they were doing

for Freya 7 and I was trying to find proof of that

on the internet when I was writing this article about it.

And I couldn't find any instance

of any person who worked on Furious 7

mentioning that movie.

I just thought it was really weird.

So I reached out to one of the second unit directors,

the name is Jack Gill, on Furious 7.

And I just called him up and I was just like, hey man, like I just wanted to ask like,

was this a conversation on the set? Were you guys aware of this movie? Like was there like a

an acknowledgement that you guys were riffing on this? And he's like like I've never heard of this movie before in my life and like it was absolutely not part of any of our discussions about it.
