All right, good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights. We're going through the Bible,

0:05.7

book by book and chapter by chapter, verse by verse. And we are currently in the book of the Song of Solomon. And tonight,

0:14.5

Lord willing, we will complete chapter three. We left off last week in chapter two. So we'll invite you there online to turn there at this time.

0:25.6

And while you're doing that, just a reminder that we have launched phase 1 of our new website at JDFarag.org.

0:33.6

I want to encourage you if you haven't already to check it out. You can subscribe as well. For those of you that have subscribed,

0:41.5

you have not yet received a notification because we have not yet sent out a notification. So we appreciate

0:49.1

your patience with us on that. It is coming soon. And we also covet your prayers as well for this site. Excited to see

0:58.1

what God's going to do with this new site. It is a great opportunity. And so thank you for

1:05.8

your patience and your prayers. Okay, Song of Solomon chapter three. Why don't we pray before we get started? We'll just ask God

1:13.9

to bless our Bible study tonight. So glad that you're here tonight on a Thursday night. I trust

1:20.7

that you'll be blessed that you've come tonight for this study and this very interesting and

1:26.3

fascinating book. And so let's pray.

1:30.5

Father in heaven, thank you so much for your word and this book that we have here in your

1:36.5

word. It's here for a reason. And so Lord, we're already seeing so much here. And that's because the Holy Spirit has opened up the eyes

1:46.8

of our understanding to that which you desire to show us in this book. All scripture is given

1:54.9

for a reason. Sometimes it's for our rebuke and instruction and encouragement and really all of the above and such is the

2:03.2

case with what we have before us tonight. So Lord, as we study now, we want to hear you speak

2:11.4

into our lives, in and through your word, and we want to commit to you our time together in your word.

2:20.9

So Lord, bless our time we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. And amen. All right. So here in chapter

2:30.0

three, we see a lovesick bride. This is from last week, by her own admission, actually.

2:40.1

She says of herself that she was lovesick so in love with her bridegroom, her lover,

2:49.9

that it was having this impact on her in every area of her life.
