0:39.1

colleagues, Jeff Colt and Brett Hornig. I got to lead us into this with one of my mystery

0:45.5

topics, which is just going to be this ode or nod to pedestrianism. I've been recovering

0:52.1

from a little jaunt in a hundred mile wilderness the past

0:55.8

six days. And I have enjoyed making Strava maps for these pedestrianism journeys where

1:02.8

like I leave my house and I go on a five to six mile walk and I make a stop at the local coffee shop.

1:07.8

I stop at the bookstore. I try to go on some streets that I've never

1:12.8

touched before so that heat map gets expanded out. And like today, before this episode, two hours,

1:18.4

six miles, talked with our local postal carrier dude, talked with the person at the counter at

1:24.3

the bookstore. And I feel like it's back into the 90s again, like pre-technology and stuff. And so for anyone out there that's recovering or just into it, I'm having so much fun walking right now. And I just wanted to lead the episode with that. Like, I'm feeling really good coming in this one because I went on a long walk and I raw-dogged it. There was no technology or anything. Finn is just a character in a

1:44.4

Richard scary book. He's meeting the sailors and he's meeting the postman and the librarian

1:49.9

and the baker. Finn explores busy town. Yeah. What shoes did you wear, Finn? What shoes did you

1:57.2

wear, Finn? Two hours. That's a long walk. Dude, I wore, and I don't know if I should count it, but I wore the, I guess for conversational pace, I wore the, the Mount to Coast H-1s. Hey, that's an appropriate shoe for, for a busy town walk. Yeah, it was just, I had a fantastic two hours out there. It's a nice, crisp, fall, sunny day here in Salt Lake City. And I think I'm going to keep doing this. I'm going to just build out the heat map here. I went down three or four. I've lived here for 10 years, and I went down three or four roads that I had never touched before in Salt Lake. So also, like, when I go running, I find that I just get into these ruts. And the heat map is, it's just rutted out. And I broke it.

2:37.0

Like you can, you can break patterns on walks, I find, because I don't care as much.
