You know, we've kind of grown up in the sport together, I would say, maybe around the same time.

But we've crossed paths from time to time and when this Aravipa takeover of the

Ultra Running magazine happened she was one of the people that just happened to be in

my inbox and I said hey let's get together and talk and we

got to catch up on what's going on with her life she's a real person with real

things going on and she you know she's honest about her life and talks about her life the struggles that she's had and you know this finding her way and

That was a really cool conversation that you can get a lot out of and then also some you know hot takes on the media and I want to reiterate that you know the things that we say about Erevaipa you know it isn't

that I think in any way that that Jamil is a bad actor or that he has bad intentions.

It's more of a conversation in the context of the concentration of the media and the

money and the influence in the sport and whether or not that's good and whether or not there's an appearance

that there could be a propriety.
