All right you guys is going to be a long run episode of me and Katie Arnold. I have been trying to get her on the show for a while and I'm really happy that I finally did.

Katie is a former Leadville 100 champ.

If you look at her Ultra Sign-Up, she won a whole bunch of races,

and she kind of won the Leadville, I don't want to say out of the blue because people didn't know who she was, but she was a little bit old. I think she was like in her 40s and you know, she all of a sudden she won the Leadville 100.

She wrote a great book called Running Home,

which is one of, if not my favorite running memoir.

And it's a story about her caring for her father when he's dying of cancer and reflecting on her life with him,

which involved a lot of running and her, you know, running origin story came from it.
