Max was just telling us very briefly, I didn't get the whole thing because we had to key the mic in here about a movie with Kevin Costner that he saw. When was this? So, I mean, I just saw it over the weekend. My girlfriend said, you need to see this. And Clinties were directed. And it was, I don't know, 20-some years ago that the movie came out. Kevin Costner was really good and it was called A Perfect World. It's the movie where he's with the little boy. I've seen it. It's really a good movie. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. And so, Clint Eastwood is in it. And at one point along the line, he's drinking something called Geritol to try to feel younger. And I'm like, what is that? And so I decided to look it up on Wikipedia.

And apparently, sometime in the 1950s and 60s, when this movie took place, they sold this

stuff called geratol that was supposed to help you with iron poor blood or something.

And it was 12% alcohol you're kidding 12% yes

wait what so what happened with wine is 14 I think percent right beer is like six I know

when I looked it up on Wikipedia the Federal Trade Commission got involved and went

hey what are you folks doing here with this snake oil?

And they find them all kinds of money and stuff for this.

So it did have some vitamins and stuff in it, but it also had 12% alcohol.

So wait, they were marketing a product to our grandparents for their iron

poor tired blood that was booze. Is that what she said? That's exactly right. That is exactly

what was going on. That was their hook because I'm looking at something here. Their hook was,

do you suffer from tired blood? Which is something I've never heard of. I've never heard of tired blood.

But if you were, I guess, an older person, you get older and you don't have quite the same

amount of energy, you might say to yourself, you know what? I've got the tired blood.

The geritol is what I, these things just blow my mind that they're

allowed to advertise. And it's still going on today, not geratol. I've never seen that in the
