The slight sacrifice in comfort of this type of hunting is more than made up for in the quality and quantity of game you will encounter. We do not over-hunt our areas and only book a limited number of clients per year. There are currently more Hunting Guides licensed in Alaska than ever before, so you have a lot to choose from. Make this choice wisely. You are investing a great deal of time and money to come to Alaska and hunt, and there is a huge variety in the service you will get. Unfortunately, some Outfitters you may encounter are far better salesmen than they are hunting guides, and you will have to be able to tell the difference.
