It was after moving to her family's home in a small town back in 2002 or 2003 when our

storytellers started discovering that those in her family had paranormal experiences.

They had gotten used to them growing up and now is going to be her turn.

My name is Edwin and here is Trisha, true, scary story.

Me and my mom and my two older sisters on the youngest out of three girls.

We moved to South Texas, tiny itty bitty town that back then was mostly populated by just

my family. My family was a huge family. I got five aunts and six uncles. So of course

all of them stayed there. And the town is so small that it used to be called dirt, town

and dog town, just simply because that's mostly what populated it.

So me and my sisters and my mom, we moved down there to stay with my grandpa for a short

period of time. I believe my family, my mom and dad were going through some marital

issues. So it was just like a little short separation. And I'd always heard stories from

my mom about when she was growing up in that house, my grandpa's house. Just little

things like she would say that she would wake up at the middle of the night and something

was tugging at her blankets and it just became a norm for everybody in the house.

My grandpa built it. We know he was between 99 and 101 when he passed. So it's fairly

old. I'd heard stories from mostly my aunts and my mother about seeing things, especially

seeing children and animals like dogs and birds occasionally that were in the house but

no one else could see them or someone else could see them but the other siblings couldn't.

We had been there maybe a couple weeks and I'm always on edge every time we go there

and we always went during the summers. So this was new living there and the house is set
