Hello, hello everybody. I'm Lexi Lombard, your host of the Alexi

podcast and thank you for tuning to today's episode.

I am audio only today.

So if you have become a fan of watching the YouTube videos,

I wanted to take a breather. It's so comfortable, especially for a solo episode.

It feels a little bit more like a phone call as opposed to a presentation.

If there is a guest, it makes so much sense to have you see their faces, see our

interactions, all of the non-verbal cues that you wouldn't get on an audio-only

episode. But when it's just me, I think it's fun to have a video, but I just wanted it to be a little bit more intimate today, so I hope that's okay with you.

A lot of you do seem to still just be listening to the audio only,

granted maybe I haven't made the proper adjustment. I've been curious in the last year to test out different

ways to advertise the podcast, to market it a little bit more.

Video being a great option for it. However, such a small fraction of the listens

actually seem to be coming from the video.

So I figured no one will really care.

I think it will be okay.

But I'll bring the video back soon enough.

Just wanted to take a breather.

If you may content yourself, I'm also contemplating getting a mic of my own to keep at home.

I record at a studio, but I'm very, very interested in traveling, which will be mentioned again once I get into the proper

episode. And I do not want to have to sacrifice taking a break from the podcast or having to search for a studio if I'm somewhere new or somewhere other than my home.

So to have a mic and a way to travel, I'm just a little overwhelmed because the equipment seems to be a bit involved.
