0:23.8	morning wire afternoon update. The judge presiding over Donald Trump's
0:28.1	hush money case ruled that the former president is in violation of his
0:32.1	gag order.
0:33.0	Daily Wire senior editor Cabot Phillips has the latest.
0:37.0	Judge Wannmarshan held the former President in contempt over nine violations
0:40.0	due to a series of social media posts made by Trump in which he targeted
0:43.6	potential witnesses in the case as well as jurors and Marshaan himself.
0:46.9	Each violation carries a fine of $1,000. Judge Marshaan also warned Trump that
0:51.9	more violations could result in jail time.
0:54.1	The gag order prohibits Trump from making or telling others to make statements
0:58.1	regarding quote known or reasonably foreseeable witnesses concerning their
1:01.7	potential participation in the investigation or in this
1:04.6	criminal proceeding.
1:05.9	Mershaun said that his order was quote lawful and unambiguous and
1:09.2	and ordered Trump to remove a number of the social media posts by 2.15 p.m. Eastern time today.
