Ladies and gentlemen, it's extremely humble honor to be able to present the Danny Bird rave digger cast.

Now why now? It's 10 years old.

But there's more to it than that.

Ravedigger was the real kind of the fulcrum the turning point the

almost the plateau of a part of drum and bass that absolutely took over the airwaves. Now there were three A-list records like singles on Rave Digger and I believe two B lists which I think to this day is probably

certainly for drummond bass, a record.

And it kind of shows how Danny Bird had his finger right on the pulse of what was going on. I'm going to get on with this now and take

you through the album not in the track order of the album but in the order that I like

so we're to start like this. Good evening and welcome to Southwest tonight. We start on the growing craze of

acid house parties and fears of the local residents. Martin Fillary reports.

During the early hours of Saturday morning, an acid house party is in full swing near Bath.

Up to 3,000 people have gathered to attend the illegal party held at a disused warehouse. At

approximately 5 a.m. police arrived in full riot gear to break up what people are

now calling a rave. Party goers had criticized the police in

their heavy handedness to break up the event. People were trying to get away

and falling over and getting hit with the shields and the battens.

Their shields are used to push, they're digging at us.

They're not pushing us with them.

They're hitting us with them. They're treating us like animals, basically.

I've been to a few rays and this got out of control a three times, but this is, they've taken a step too far, I think, personally.

You know, a lot of the police here are very understanding, I don't think they really want to be here. I think they've got better things to be doing you know and

it's just a terrible thing. There's 3,000 disappointed people all going on
