Summary
In this kid's story, Lola, our intrepid 5-year-old protagonist, ventures with her forebearer into a snowy forest, where everything from the trees to the stones is made of folded paper. An origami crane flaps and introduces Lola to a fire fairy, who proceeds to dazzle Lola and her forebearer with a fireworks display, and invite her to her home, a paper pond where a mermaid and so-called silkie live.
