One of the best, biggest pop cultural phenomenons of the last number of years has obviously been

Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton.

Well, he's got another stage production that he's turned into a movie with the help of

director John M. Chu, who is the director of Crazy Rich Asians.

And of course, the Oscar-winning Gem in the holograms, let's not forget about that one.

But John M. Chu has directed in the heights.

Listen, I'll be very frank, very honest.

I didn't think the trailers for in the heights were necessarily all that great.

I thought, okay, it's Lin-Manuel Miranda doing his Hamilton stick.

That's, that's we got.

It's him doing his Hamilton stick and that's okay.

But I didn't really think it felt like it had any heart.

I mean, it's, it's hard though.

It's hard for a musical.

I mean, first of all, it's difficult enough for any movie to really make a great trailer

and to capture the essence of the movie.

It's especially difficult for a musical, like for a comedy, throw a couple of your funny

jokes in it.

It's not that hard to make a trailer for comedy.

For a musical to really capture the essence of it, it's difficult.

So I wasn't tremendously impressed with the trailers.

But my wife and has been tremendously excited about in the heights.
