Welcome back to true crime cases. I'm your host, Lainey.

Concord is the capital of New Hampshire, with low crime rates, a rich history, and nature right

outside of your front door. It's an idyllic place to live. And when it comes to housing,

you couldn't do much better than the Alton Woods apartment complex, a 41-acre complex that is home to a mix of

older, retired people, young, single people, and young families. The complex sits behind several

chain restaurants and is across from the Steeplegate Mall, which is sadly, largely unoccupied,

with only six businesses remaining open in 2025. Despite the abandoned mall,

Alton Woods remains a thriving complex that is both remote and private, but also offers a sense

of community with events like the Holiday Balcony decoration competition. With walking trails,

both within and close to the apartments, the location speaks to nature lovers.

Little is known about Cody Toole, who was a resident at Alton Woods in October 2021.
