I don't know how many of these I'm going to do, but the idea behind it was inspired partially

by a conversation with the great Tim Bondamps of the Washington Post is a basic structural

issue that the Warriors are going to deal with, and it's the consequence of being as good

as they are.

And that is that

they do not have a ton of team building options outside of the standard for an expensive team,

taxpayer middle-level exception each year, and then minimum contracts. And what that means,

in a practical sense, is that the Warriors are going to have a lot of turnover for non-star players.

And when you have a lot of turnover, one of the ways that you generally deal with that is that you can't

retain a guy, especially if you like them, because if you like them, then other people are going to
