Greetings Hoops Heads. Welcome to Lockdown Warriors, part of the Lockdown Podcast Network. It's Thursday, June 14th. I'm your host, Aliko Carter. If you didn't check my Twitter, then you don't know why I've been on hiatus for the last few days. I was actually on my way home on Monday on my bike to

record this podcast and I got clipped by a car that then drove away and I didn't go to the

hospital. I didn't have to but I definitely was sore for a few days. I had to work from home. I

didn't go to the parade though I wasn't planning on it

anyway, and I do want to get into a little bit of that, watching from home, talking about the

parade, a little bit about why I didn't end up going. But yeah, got clipped by a car,

hit and run. Really, really shitty. Luckily, just a few scrapes and bruises a little bit of

soreness some neck soreness really crappy but nothing to write home about i'm fine i'm back

and the warriors are champions again i have to admit it's pretty damn cool i wrote a little something

little something personal that i want to share in the second segment it's pretty damn cool. I wrote a little something, a little something personal that I want to

share in the second segment. It's a little late to be talking about game four, but I do want to

talk about the debate, the 7-4 vote for finals MVP in favor of Kevin Durant over Stefan

Curry. Definitely want to spend some time on that in this first

segment. And then in the third segment, we're going to go down the Reddit hole to see if we can

find some nuggets from the parade, some nuggets from these last few days. I've picked up a couple of

shirts already from Oaklandish, celebrating the Warriors' latest championship.

If you don't know about Oaklandish, and I don't know how you can't, they make fly duds and rep the town.

It's a beautiful thing. Definitely check out their flagship store on Broadway in downtown Oakland.

I'm sure they got a ton of business on parade day. The patios at my

office were strewn with white, blue, and yellow confetti. When I got there on Wednesday morning,

it was pretty cool. Just those little reminders, you know, those little reminders that the team that

you love, the team that you support is a champion, is the best team.
