happy to bring you your team every day. The Warriors played a supremely strange but still interesting

game against the Philadelphia 76ers, ending up winning 119108. A little bit of history made in a

again an unusual way.

Stefan Curry tied the NBA record for most attempts in a game where a player did not make a single three-pointer.

Tying Trey Burke and Antoine Walker, definitely some interesting company for that honor with zero for 11 from three.

I talked about this in my piece for the athletic,

but part of what made this game different,

but also less concerning for those people

who would be concerned by it,

is that it was more an anomaly of getting good shots

and them not going in than anything else.

Curry forced a few, and a couple other guys did as well, but by and

large, the Warriors were generating good looks all over the floor. They were generating good

looks in the paint. They ended up scoring 62 points in the paint compared to 48 for the Sixers,

and when you consider how generally speaking they derive so much of their offense from there,

especially now with their

lack of perimeter shooting. Overall, Covington hit a few. Gerald Henderson hit a few, but overall,

they're not awesome from there. Usually they ended up below 30% for the game. The Warriors

ended up needing a strong fourth quarter shooting three, I think there were three of six,

to get all the way up to 20%.

And as I said at the beginning, those weren't particularly bad looks.
