Golden State Warriors who ended up winning their game against the Portland Trailblazers

with a furious comeback, final score 119, 113 in Portland, and it's also, to a degree, overshadowed, well,

not overshadowed, but another big part of it is the ongoing concerns about the health of head

coach Steve Kerr. I will talk about both of those things and the health stuff and Durant and everything else over the course of this show.

purchase. But let's start with the game, and the game was a pretty impressive comeback overall,

because one of the important parts to consider about this game is that Portland outplayed the

Warriors by and large for the first 30 minutes of this game was about the

540 mark when the Warriors were kind of sitting there. I think at that point, Portland had a 12-point

lead. They had dominated offensively. They played it really well. Defensively, they'd done a good

job. The Warriors hadn't really turned it over, but they also

weren't shooting particularly well. And then what became a really important dynamic in this game is

that typically Coach Kerr will pull Clay Thompson, Drayvon Green, kind of around that stretch,

usually one of them, usually green with about four minutes ago, Clay a little bit after that,

to set them up for the beginning of the fourth quarter, same parallel to the beginning of

the end of the first, the beginning of the second.

Mike Brown, interim head coach, former coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Spurs' assistant,

was more aggressive during his Cavs tenure in terms of playing starters.
