Today on the show, Chris and I are breaking down the craziest day in Steelers history.

It started with the announcement that Ben Rothersberger would need surgery on the elbow he injured against the Seattle Seahawks.

That surgery will keep him out for the entirety of the 2019 season.

Mason Rudolph will take over as your starting quarterback from this point forward.

Ben did announce later in the day that he will be back for 2020,

but you do have to call into question whether

or not that's even going to be possible, given that he's 38 years old, he's going to have to

go through this rehab process.

He wants to come back, but will his body let him?

It is an open question.

Chris and I are going to talk about that, and then we're also going to talk about the Steelers

trading away their first round pick in 2020.

The first time they have traded away a first round pick since the 1960s.

They traded away their 2020 first round pick for Minka Fitzpatrick, the defensive back

from the Miami Dolphins.

A young player, a playmaker, is he exactly the kind of playmaker in the secondary that this defense has so desperately

needed?

We're going to break that down as well, as well as the compensation the Steelers gave up.
